<p>Air temp at lower alpine ~-4, Wind moderate to strong out of south, broken cloud occasional sun but no solar warming. No snow being transported as most surfaces hard and already scoured and heavily wind modified. Tested Lee pocket of windslab below ridge crest at 1550m on north aspect 32 degree small convex slope, undermined 4m trench below convexity then slope cut. Upper 10-20 cm of 4f+ soft windslab propagating easily 2m laterally with one stomp running on buried skiff of graupel, Several more hard stomps released a 1f windslab another 15-20 down on a nondescript storm interface,this lower layer resistant. No recent naturals observed on north Or east quadrants. Little appealing alpine or treeline snow. Below treeline to ~1100m good quality turns 15 cm ski pen with light temp crust 10cm down growing to strong temp crust down 5cm by 900m. Below 900m crust supportive and surface moist.</p>
