Hwy Corridor

Highway opening up later this afternoon due to more Lane widening. snowpack in the corridor has settled down after a turbulent period of new snow and strong south west winds that punched in much farther north than expected. Significant cross loading brought out numerous natural avalanches on north to north east facing slopes. The corridor remains cooler today with clear skies, temps around -10 and north winds up to 20km/h. Solar penetration is becoming efficient with snowballs rolling down the slopes even in the colder temps. Fraser HS has settled to 250 cm.
