Pudifin powder

There was 10-30 cm of fresh snow above crusts in Hellroaring, with the deepest deposits on shaded aspects. We saw many small fresh avalanches (all size 1) including dry loose avalanches on steep north-facing terrain, wet loose avalanches on sun-exposed slopes in the afternoon, and a few isolated slabs. Winds were strong in the morning and had formed some isolated wind slabs near ridges and helped grow the looming cornices.
