Crystal ridge

Took a gander up to the southren most point on crystal ridge. Even though the forecast called for overcast. Ended being a blue bird day with an inversion. Sat on top of the ridge in the sun wearing nothing but base layers comfortably while enjoying our lunch. Steeper SW slopes exhibited signs of spring skiingby the afternoo , lots of pin wheeling. East aspects had good riding but with the occasional whompf. Average snow depth on the east side was 70cm at treeline. Much thiner(rockier on west facing slopes)
