Quick report
Day 1 of motorized level. We rode from 7100 to 8100 feet. The riding surface was saturated unconsolidated wet snow. Surface snow was unsupportable with boot penetration up to 70cm deep. We witnessed settlement cracks forming on steeper slopes on north/northwest aspects near ridge tops around 8000 feet. Very hot day. No precipitation at this location.
