Widespread surface hoar in the morning. NE snow pit at 7,190’ yielded unreactive results: CTN x2, ECTX. Lots of wind slabs observed throughout the day on wind affected aspects. Found cold snow on shaded aspects above 6,800’. Lots of natural loose wet slides on solar aspects at varying elevations.
