Quick report
Time: 1600. Location: Lower Snowfields, 4300', ENE aspect. We observed a deeply saturated and soft snowpack with boot penetration ankle deep to boot top. Many small glide cracks were noted as we ascended that were a few inches wide and up to 10' long. Wet loose would have been a concern had we been on any steeper slopes.

There were mostly cloudy skies, strong winds, and warm temps while we were in the field. Temps had been well above freezing for 12+ hours along with rain the previous night.
Snowpack
A quick profile revealed a snowpack that was saturated as deep as we dug - 140cm. The snowpack was largely homogenous down to this depth, with the warm temps/water appearing to have broken down some of the crust layers that we expected to see in this upper snowpack.
