Quick report
I was driving on the highway and spotted this large avalanche on Goat Peak (near Durrance). This is a separate avalanche from the smaller slide reported in the Forecast and in the Savage driving ob from 2/15. Hard to tell exactly what is going on with this larger slide, but there is a thin, wide ghost crown (?maybe) visible near the ridge in this starting zone and it also looks like it may have stepped/scoured down in the gut of the path (lookers left of where the thicker mature trees appear). This gut faces due south. Other thin wind slabs that likely failed on the vday radiation recrystallization crust+facets are also visible in this image.
