Observation covers both 6/7 & 6/8 in terrain above lakes Clyde and Aloha. On both days (as well as 6/6 hike in), bluebird gave way to early/mid-afternoon building clouds/t-storm risk (materialized 6/6 & 6/8) before clearing again late afternoon. Bit more sustained storminess and occasionally breezy on 6/8. Snow coverage still pretty good above 8-8.5K - with fairly efficient travel conditions, penetration-wise - though often sun-cupped and runneled (sometimes significantly so making softer conditions - not hard to find given higher overnight temps - more enjoyable). While good skiing can be had (and was very stable/non-productive even on steep, late afternoon lines), was very cautious with route finding due to concerns about wet granite bed surface-related risk, especially above terrain traps.
Avalanche
Mostly older debris/paths, though lesser-weathered debris blocks from one (likely wet slab or glide) on easterly facing aspect (8800’) above Lake Aloha imply fairly recent. As well, noted multiple other in progress glide cracks in same area.
