Snowpack

I made observations on Mt. Judah today.  Around 4-6'' of storm snow fell in this area yesterday and overnight.  Winds shifted to the East last night and have been strong to gale force in speed along exposed upper elevations.  Wind exposed slopes have been scoured with wind drifted snow on SW-W-NW aspects.  Some of these wind drifts were several feet deep, but did not show any cracking and were limited to the ridgeline not extending downslope very far.  Limited snow exists in this area for any sort of over the snow travel.
