Quick report
We skied slot and snot couloirs today on s snoqualmie mountain. It was a sneaky pow day with 3-4” fresh over form crusts everywhere but higher elevation norths. Ski conditions were generally good, although some shenaniganz on approach and exit as expected. We were glad to bring sharps, especially boot crampons but also glad to have axe a couple times. We triggered some very small wind slabs in both couloirs. In slot was only 2” deep, then in snot slightly bigger 4” deep. Additionally a lot of loose sluffing in the couloirs we had to manage
Avalanche
D 0.5 windslab in both slot and snot
