Overcast skies by the start of this late afternoon tour, with light spits of snow here and there. Light winds blowing out of the NW on ridgelines.
Snowpack
No formal obs, just moving through terrain.30-40cm HST. The settled slab above 1/6 is 65-75cm thick and quite dense. I had some large, rumbling collapses in winded terrain, but the snowpack was somewhat quiet for much of my ascent.

I observed many avalanches that had failed in the past 10 days. These failed on all aspects, and across the elevation bands.
