About a foot of new snow overnight and early morning. Light snowfall during the day, low to moderate winds. The new snow was poorly bonded to the underlying snow. D0.5 to D1 soft slabs were widespread and easily triggered on steeper terrain features and rollovers. Multiple were observed on south & east Herman. Large steep open faces would likely have produced wide avalanches, so dialing it back was key today. Stability somewhat improved throughout the day as the mew snow settled, but slabs were still easy to trigger.
