Quick report
We are on day of four of well above normal temperatures at 5000'. In some ways, you couldn't buy an avalanche on Wednesday no matter how steep and unsupported a slope you chose to travel. But it's hard to say it's Low given the extent of glide avalanche activity from Tuesday. Plus the continued risk given the same weather conditions and plentiful, melting snow over steep rock. Wet loose activity from Sunday and Monday was less than anticipated, probably due to moderate winds keeping the snow surface cool. It appears weak, faceted snow that developed in late November in the top 1' has since rounded out with warmer temperatures. The biggest question is if the near-surface facets currently surviving on shaded aspects see rain or snow at the onset of precipitation in a few days.
No signs of instability other than recent glide avalanches and cliffs shedding snow blocks.Weather

Calm and warm. with very strong morning inversion with 28F at valley bottom to 48F on top of Pan (5000') at 8:00.
Snowpack
Snowpack is sun and/or heat-affected at all elevations. Southerly aspects held a weak, breakable crust that softened quickly in the morning. Shaded slopes above Upper Bagley were also warm and sloppy up to 4700'. Near surface facets to 2mm in size surviving on some shaded slopes. On the southern aspects, the top 10-15cm is wet with a mix of moist rounds and crusts below. On shaded slopes, the layers above the November crust were moist, rounding facets. The biggest layer of concern was a weak 4F layer found between two thinner crusts down 30cm. Suspect the crust started to facet out during colder temperatures but has rounded out with sustained warmth.

In addition to listed glide avalanches, lots of shedding from cliffs and cornices, even on shaded aspects where the ridge above was picking up sun. Many very small loose snow avalanches from the first few days of sun. Only dry slab avalanche (D1) was observed was on a north aspect near Ptarmigan Ridge. Triggered by a chunk of snow that shed from the ridge above.
