Quick report
On the NW corner of Ptarmigan Ridge, just SW of Artist Point, there is steep rocky face that frequently produces apex avalanche activity. This observer has seen this area produce very large avalanches over the past 15 years of touring in this area. Currently, there are clear visible signs of an impending large apex release. Several skintracks were seen traversing directly underneath this feature in close proximity. Leaving a margin of distance in the coming days will be essential as temperatures warm.
