Quick report
Seems like the instability was isolated. We ended up at the top of this steep slope while searching for an entrance to a specific line. We were moving pretty cautiously to avoid steeper slopes, but ended up next to the rollover where the slide was triggered. Skinned back up to find better route down.
Avalanche
Triggered a D1 pocket while poking around near the top of a steep slope at 8,400’ on a NNE aspect. Probably 30’ wide and 10” deep but ran a couple hundred feet. No one was caught. Stuck to lower angle terrain. No other signs of instability.
