After skiing the same terrain the day prior (12/30/11) we observed some radical changes in terrain features since Friday night Saturday morning’s wind event. There were strange serpentine hard slabs along ridge lines and other oddities from high winds. We noticed both collapsing and cracking on these hard slabs and if these had been a steep slope beneath, they surely would have slid!
