Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Skied west of the pass on west aspects to stay less cold. Success with comfortable temps but low elevations were wind scoured outside of old growth. Less wind affect in mid elevation band. Hard wind slab varying from 5-15cm. Isolated cracking in steeper slopes (30-33 degrees) but nothing widespread. Lots of slope anchoring with low coverage and partially buried boulders. Many protruding boulders had minimal snow coverage with scouring to recent crust(s). Still great skiing in protected areas. Surface facet growth impressive in protected areas.
