Collapsing
isolated

Wind loading on N to NE slopes above tree line. Right side up snowpack down to 200cm below surface to Jan layer. Faceted below 200cm layer. Experienced isolated collapsing under snowmobile in two different locations when stopping on a flat. Approximately 7000’ elevation.

Snowpack

HS 365cm, OVC, No Wind, NE Aspect at 23 degree slope, 7300’ elevation ECT 200cm in depth. Density Fist surface to 40 cm down, 4 finger 40 to 70 cm down, Finger 70 to 90 cm down, Pencil to 90cm to 200 down. CT 12 at 25cm, CT 14 40cm, CT 24 70cm, no Propagation observed.
