Meeting everyone that can't ski Kicking Horse

Rode a south facing slope that seemed to have had a fair amount of wind in it that blew a lot of the new snow away. "Only" 15-20cm of light powder on a terrible crust mixed with low light even when the sun peaked through made for only okay skiing in the alpine. Better lower down. Crust seemed to be the melt freeze crust from about a week ago and had some old debris on it too. Mellow uptrack felt very solid. Skiing trees seems to be the way to go right now.
