Elk Mountain

Snow was light and fluffy from around 800m and up, with 10cm of fresh snow sitting atop a very thin crust. Down 30cm there was a second crust 2cm thick, and below that was loose unconsolidated powder.

Fist, 10cm 4F, 11cm Fist, 20cm 1F, 25 Fist, 60 With limited time, we were not able to find the deep persistent layer of facets, but we are sure it down below as we could feel something while probing down 150cm
