Dome Obs

Skied a few laps on the Cleaver and then the Dome glacier. Wind affected and crusty on the cleaver, but nice settled pow on the Dome. We tiptoed around but found no signs of instability and couldn’t get anything to move. Felt cold in the shade with a cool wind all day. Great skiing. Sun crust was evident on the exit lower down on the dome headwall. We did hear one large avalanche at 12.30 off the east face of Abbott. Size 2.5, see pic. This was the only instability observed.
