Skied Mt Weed S face today. Excellent travel through the treeline. Supportive snowpack with soft snow in top. No temp crust. Into alpine wind has consolidated the pack well too making for great travel. A few cm's of soft on top for good ski quality. High alpine has taken a pretty good beating from the wind but made for good booting. Some thin areas have sluffed to ground from solar and a fair bit of mushroom debris but no large cornice failures. No notable instabilities. Quite good conditions overall, upper alpine bowl skied fantastic. Very sunny but feels like the overnight cold is faceting away any solar affect.
