Surprisingly good riding conditions in the wake of this week's storm. We stuck to low-angle terrain with no overhead hazard in sheltered trees, open wind-sifted meadows and cut blocks. Total snowpack heights variable around 6000ft at 120-240cm. Temps -1C with light winds through the day. Snowpit in SW sheltered gully feature, 25 degrees: ECTN11 down 27cm on surface hoar/facets. 21cm of new fist-density snow (dry!) sitting on a 2cm crust (visible in photo).
