Nothing to "ski" here

Buck lake area needs at least two good storms before it's worth the walk, in case anyone else around town also sees snow through rose coloured glasses. HS a meager 65cm at 1800m, ski pen 30. No wind or solar affect in furthest lookers right path.... snow would've been just great, if only there was more of it. :( Shooting cracks and whumpfing in lower elevation isolated areas, found the surface hoar layer at ~1550m but disappeared higher up. No wind, nice temps, worse places to get skunked.
