Toured up to Puzzle Peak ramp but it looked heavily wind effected from a distance so decided to go up Dolomite Shoulder instead. Wind effected snow above tree line made for compact skiing, but lots of powder to be found on S facing slopes between treeline and 2000m. Below 2000m we found less powder, sitting on a noticeable crust at ~10cm depth. Visibility was limited to the closest peaks but did not observe any avalanche activity.

Snow conditions were: Crusty, Wind affected, Powder. Weather conditions were: Windy, Warm, Cloudy. We rode: Alpine slopes, Dense trees, Steep slopes, Open trees. Riding quality was ok.

Wind effected above tree line, compact on the shoulder and noticeable loading in lee areas. Light and deep powder on S facing slopes between treeline and 2000m, snow depth ranging from 20cm to +40cm depending on sheltering. Below 2000m we found 5-10cm of light powder, sitting on a hard crust
