Snow conditions were: Deep powder. Weather conditions were: Cold, Sunny. We rode: Alpine slopes, Mellow slopes, Steep slopes. We avoided: Convex slopes. Riding quality was amazing.

Avalache Conditions: Slab avalanches today or yesterday.

Weather

Brisk clear day today. -34 according to the Nissan at 8:30am to -27 @ 11am. South aspects were much more bearable, the the odd wind coming out of the east. Fair bit of moderate snow transport from ridge tops in the AM

Avalanche

Was dusted by this avalanche at 11:00am which started high up on the face of commonwealth peak. Not sure of the trigger. We did witness snow transport coming off commonwealth peak during our accent. This small avalanche ran quite far and almost to the point in which parties often transition for the decent on the commonwealth circuit. A healthy reminder to be aware of your surroundings at all times.
