Blowdown

Dug a pit at ~ 2080m preformed 2 compression test both failed on storm snow layer ~40 cm down. Both were hard results one at 26 and one at 30+. Day was eerily calm surface hoar was widely observed. Past a recent snow pit on our way up (~1850m) that clearly showed a weak layer ~ 60-80cm down possible rain crust. Our at a higher elevation pit showed no sign of weak layer/crust.
