frigid air temps and strong winds above treeline from the east/northeast creating wide spread pockets of wind slab that were cracking and reactive to skier traffic we avoided any larger slopes/convexity but triggered several small pockets with no skier involvement that propagated short distances and did not run far, wind slabs observed above as well as below treeline and on S/SW as well as N/NW aspects, (northbowl and fishbowl/powder 8s ) overall marginal ski conditions in wind affected areas, good ski conditions in areas sheltered from the wind
