Sentinel Ridge - Vic Cole Lodge Area

40 to 50 cm’s of storm snow being redistributed by strong southerly winds down as low as 1200 meters. Wind slab development on lee slopes. Poor visibility. No alpine observations.

Snow conditions were: Heavy, Wind affected. Weather conditions were: Stormy, Windy, Warm, Cloudy. We rode: Mellow slopes, Open trees. We avoided: Alpine slopes, Steep slopes. Riding quality was ok.

Avalache Conditions: 30cm + of new snow, or significant drifitng, or rain in the last 48 hours.
