Low Elevation Profile

Low elevation full profile on 30 degree, north facing slope adjacent a large slide path. Site was bouldery with sparse deciduous and some brush. 2 x CTE1 (SC) down 25cm on storm snow/old snow interface - fist overlying 4F+. At this location, noticed the Jan 15 crust down approx 40cm without any surface hoar associated with it. Strong temperature gradient in top half of snowpack. Continued loading throughout the day (S2).
