Christiana Trees

Skied Christiana Trees. Snow quality improved with elevation but the crust was noticeably thicker and more supportive in denser trees. Snow quality was better on E aspects that were sheltered from the Saturday wind. We found evidence of new surface hoar from Saturday night in open protected glades, and in these areas the skiing was heavy (with a thin breakable crust), but fun. New snow was rapidly accumulating throughout the day Sunday.
