Cloudburst Wet Slab

Size 2 wet slab with 12in. crown x ~100ft. wide x ~500ft. run length on W/NW open slope below cliff face funnelling into short gully into open bowl. Distinct, thick, ice layer below 20-30cm unsettled snow. Sunny all day; rapidly warming weak surface layer. Observed multiple self-triggered micro-cracks in afternoon on wind slabs and sun exposed slopes indicating sliding weak layer below.
