20 ish cm's of recent storm snow over crusty snow. Little wind today. Just below zero temps. Thick clouds with light snow for better part of the day. Wind effected soft slab from forming at top of Cats No Dogs ridge area. Small size 0.5 slab cut on small convexity with supported lower end that slid on the crust below. 40 - 50 cm's at deepest point that tapered out a few metres in either direction down to 10 cm's thick that slid a meter or so down slope and stopped. This was at top of Cats. No other action down slope into the trees. You could still feel the hard crust below at times. Two other smaller wind slabs in small pockets at entrance into No Socks that dissolved into slough. Small river of sloughs if they were concentrated into a trenchy area. Big blocks of crusty snow in run out of Iron Curtain do not make the upper part look very inviting.
