North of Wendy Thompson Hut

We skinned and boot pack to near a peak north of Wendy Thompson Hut. Our skin track caused Size 2 avalanche (more than a 100m path) while we skied. My friend skied down first, and as I was coming down, it released. Another avalanche of about the same size happened in a gully to the right of us. We didn't skin up this slope at all. We couldn't tell which avalanche happened first, but I think our skin track impacted the snowpack and triggered the avalanche on our slope, and this avalanche triggered another one. It was on a south aspect and has been affected by sun and wind.
