Metal Dome: touchy alpine

Amazing riding in the trees, with nice dry snow. Not so good in the alpine with very variable snow from hard packet to nice pow. Touchy conditions on steep slopes: see the pictures of a recent avi size 2 (maybe 1-2 days old) that started on a 35 degrees slope. No idea what trigger it, but we saw tons of heli skiing tracks, so maybe they did it.
