Northern San Juan

Two avalanches on northeast-facing slopes were remotely triggered from the flats by a snowmobiler 200-300 feet away. Each slope was skied multiple times before the avalanche. No cracking or collapsing was observed by the group prior to the avalanche. No one was in contact with moving snow during either slide.
