Went looking for somewhere to ski without much luck. The snow felt good with adequate coverage around 1100m+ but no safe, accessible ski terrain. Not enough snow in the forest to go direct to the bowl on skis so we took the summer route. It was a bit convoluted getting through the bluffs after leaving Tennent Lake. The lake was still a bit thin to walk on.
Triggered a 0.5 on myself (pictured) while walking below a north facing roll at around 1130m and turned around when we got to the steep section heading up to Sandbag.
The exit sucked below the pipe-bridge. Needs another storm or two to be skiable.
