Untracked dry snow, but whumpfing

Exploring above (south of) Wall L trail starting near creek crossing. 1-2C. Breaking trail. Snow noticeably drier here than E of Forum L junction. Ascended quickly, 3rd whumpf made it abundantly clear that we shouldn’t be up here without proper avvie gear. U-turned back down, super fun through the trees. Descent from Akamina Pass through trees twd Cameron L also fun, but more mash-potatoey here, and gusty S wind at Cameron L.
