Steep Creek

Avalanche on N/NE Wall above Darkside Lake, slid during this storm cycle, likely during the 1/3-1/4 snow event. Observed 10-15 cm of new snow on top of avalanche debris, likely from snow overnight 1/4-1/5. Poor visibility, unsure of start zone. Avalanche slid full path to lake with debris impacting lake ice, appears to have raised and collapsed entire surface. Use caution when approaching lake on all sides.
