Quick Observation

The snow felt somewhat heavy, however did not observe any signs of instability. Overall, great skiing!

Weather

Warm and foggy above treeline

Snowpack

Did a compression test on the slope we were about to ski. HS 120cm. SE aspect at 2150m, 30 degree slope. CTM 13 down 32, failed on what looked like the recent storm snow. No sudden pop. A very prominent layer of crust 50cm deep, however it did not produce any results.
