No avalanche activity observed except loose sluffs and small, thin slabs on freshly wind-loaded slopes. See incident report.

Snow conditions were: Crusty, Hard, Wind affected. Weather conditions were: Windy, Foggy, Cloudy. We rode: Alpine slopes, Mellow slopes, Open trees. We avoided: Sunny slopes. Riding quality was ok.

Avalache Conditions: Slab avalanches today or yesterday. Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.

Weather

Cloudy day with stable, cool temperatures above treeline.

Incident

Skier triggered size 1-1.5 traversing high on fresh wind slab and was carried ~20 meters down slope to rest on the bed surface. No burial, injuries, or equipment damage. Crown face ~30 cm but the rest of the slab was 10 cm thick or less, and snow beneath was stable.
