Avalanche Information
Friday I triggered a wet loose slide in the lone eagle cirque on steep northeast facing terrain. I was initially in front of the moving snow, pulled off to the side and the slide continued past me without catching or carrying me. Slide ran for ~300 vertical feet. Also noted a wet slide in the Achonee Arrow that we thing occurred Friday evening.
Weather
Intermittent clouds, some snow / graupel in the afternoons both friday and saturday. Cold enough overnight for firm freeze but generally pleasant camping temps. Would guess low in the mid-high twenties. Short round of thunder around 4pm Saturday.
Snowpack
Aspects that are getting sun are firm in the morning and turning to corn with sun exposure. Ski crampons were nice but not critical. Steep north facing was still wintery with a firmer layer supporting booting ~8 inches down.
