Saw lots of old avy debris, some quite old (i.e. Ottoman slide path and further up in the alpine) and some a bit more recent but still a few days old on the sides when going up.
Due to it fogging up we turned around just above 1900m. Two others went up a little further and told us later that vis sucked but skiing was the best on the upper part.
We stayed skiers left to avoid ice sharks and there were great turns to be had on open slopes and through open trees until we had to meet back up with the ice sharks just before the slog out began.
Crossing the Ottoman slide path (which was covered in big ice junks) needed a lot of attention to not get caught by the ice. One person from our group did, went head first into the snow and had snow collapsing onto them. Fortunately, they got themselves out quickly. Please look out for each other!
The skiing down on skiers right was better than expected but snow got heavier there.
Took the upper road out and decent snow bridges over creeks to ski out. But with warming temps who knows for how long.
