Avalanche
On 4/10 we saw a natural D1 wet loose on SE facing slopes of Williams Peak, at roughly 10,000'. Track ran about 800'. Several other smaller wet loose on south, east and north aspects later that day. On 4/11 there was a very soft freeze the night before. On our egress, we saw several fresh D1-D2 wet loose N to NE facing slopes at mid elevation that had run earlier that morning. All were triggered from new snow warming on rocks above and dropping significant amounts of snow onto the lower slopes and entraining more snow to run 300' to 700'. We did not see this same avalanche activity at 9000'+ on N/NE aspects. Experienced many collapses and isothermic (skis collapsing through the snow to to ground) below treeline.
