New (overnight) snow was about 4-5" at its deepest and as shallow as 1-2" in more wind-scoured/sun affected slopes. No collapses observed but to not much surprise we were able to trigger 2x shallow/isolated wind slabs in a couloir (NW @9240'). North facing snow was still soft/cold in shaded areas but all solar aspects featured dust on crust conditions. The warm temps of the last week + freeze overnight helped stability in older layers of snow significantly, with no observed instability deeper in the snowpack.
Avalanche
NW aspect @9240' out in the Titus drainage, able to cut loose 2x shallow/isolated wind slabs as we were descending a couloir. Would estimated thickness at 2-4" Also observed a large avalanche that broke across almost an entire ridgeline in the Coyote Creek drainage. The crown ranged from 8800-9450' on N/NW aspect. Hard to tell how old this one is though, at least occurred before the overnight precip between Saturday night/Sunday morning because the debris field was already fully buried under new snow.
