Quick report
Observed overall warming throughout the day. Snow became more wet and heavy by the afternoon. Snow pit at 7,577’ east facing showed unstable results. HS 95cm. CTM Q1 down 56cm. ECTP Q1 down 56cm. Slab over very weak snow (Ground 0-30cm F, 30-65cm 1F-, 65-95cm F) Multiple avalanches were observed throughout the Headwaters drainage at mid-upper elevation. Avalanches appeared to have slid after the recent storm, but before I arrived around 11:30am.
