Quick report

Snowpack is approximately 1m deep in this area. New snow is dense and supports ski travel. There was a noticeable density change within the top 15-20 cms of new snow, with softer fist hard snow underneath more dense snow. This was more pronounced at locations below 8k feet. ECTN on this layer at both locations where we dug test pits. Basal facets appeared wet and this layer has compacted significantly. Signs of wind transport up higher but wind features were unreactive, and showed no signs of cracking with test kicks. We did not observe any signs of instability, or avalanche activity, however visibility was limited.
