Narao trees

Pretty much snowed and blowed all day. Temps -18 in the parking lot 'warming' to -15 mid day with strong westerlies. Heavy snowfall (+wind transport) at times with high humidity made for cold hands fiddling with boot buckles. Very good ski quality in sheltered trees, fast and knee deep. Stuck to mellow, supported terrain and avoided anything of even minor consequence. Height of snow 125cm at 1950m NW aspect. No wumphs, limited Avy obs due to poor visibility but the wind in the alpine sounded like a freight train all day so draw your own conclusions.
