We skinned out the road and stomped on some steeper tests slopes along the way; these tests showed no propagation or cracking. We noticed a single area of wind affected snow: on Bennett Ridge on a north facing slope at 5100’. We observed minor cracking in this area. The new snow was very deep: 2-3’. Travel outside of snow machine tracks was very slow. The weather was cool, with very light snowfall and very light wind.
